Eric Peterson

Eric Peterson is the Assistant Director for the Santa Clara County Airports. He is a 1996 graduate of San Jose State University's Aviation program with a major in Airport Operations and a Business Minor. While going to school, Eric worked for a small software company in Mountain View as an office administrator. Prior to that, he was a sales department manager for Macys in Sunnyvale.

Eric is a native of Oklahoma and moved to California in 1991. In 1995, a beautiful young lady named Susan Bearden, a native of Sunnyvale, agreed to marry him and they welcomed the first addition to the family, Evan, in 2003. Unfortunately for Eric, the remainder of his family has stayed in Oklahoma, which means he makes many trips back to visit friends and family. An active pilot, Eric loves to fly and has around 800 hours, with most of that based out of the Reid-Hillview Airport.

He has worked at the Reid-Hillview Airport since May 1998 when he started as an Airport Operations Worker. Since that time he has also been the RHV Airport Operations Supervisor, the County Airports Business Manager and the Assistant Director.

He enjoys the work and all the friendly faces at the airports.
