Welcome!
County Airports is pleased to introduce John Suter, who recently joined the staff as an Airport Operations
Worker. Coming from an FBO at Business Jet Center at OAK, John started at RHV and trained for
all three airports before temporarily moving to PAO to fill in for a vacancy.
John has always been fascinated with aviation, starting his career with 10 years in the U.S. Air Force. He
had the good luck to be stationed in Hawaii, where he served as an Aircraft Airlift Specialist, performing
maintenance on C-141 and C-5 aircraft. John also played on the Air Force baseball team, touring the
globe to play other semi-pro teams. In his free time, John loves golf, surfing, and baseball, and hanging
out with his dogs, Roscoe and Daisy. Be sure to say hello next time you’re on the field.

Support Our Troops
RHV Airport Operations Worker Robert Lizarraga is in the Navy Reserve, and he is currently on active duty in Kuwait. Robert is part of a cargo battalion responsible for loading and unloading ships and aircraft using a variety of cranes, forklifts, and heavy equipment. He has been overseas for about six months, but keeps in touch regularly. He assures us he is doing well and even sent a few photos.
We are very proud of Robert’s
dedication to his country, but we miss
him and hope he comes home soon.
Robert would enjoy hearing from folks
here at home, so contact Chris Nucci at
RHV for the address.
